HOORAY FOR CROCHET!

I really love to crochet but do not really have as much time as I used to. I love to give crocheted gifts for Christmas so any spare moment I have you will find me making something out of yarn, here is a neck shawl I made for my daughter, complete with a vintage Bill Blass button!

Porcupine Birthday Cake!

One of my sons is obsessed with Porcupines and has been for two years now.
He asked for a Porcupine birthday cake, I used pretzel sticks for the quills and chocolate
halloween eyes and jujube feet,nose and eyebrows, he is more cartoonish than I had envisioned

him being but nonetheless happy with the end result!

Figs & Blackberries & Peaches!

Figs and blackberries and peaches go together so well and I am so lucky to have all of these treasures in my yard! I made jam and baked  many yummy cakes!
